Local Art Works
The local best known way of art are the typical
salt ships made on a structure of cane and wood strips covered with cotton.
The specialists in this craftmanship give shape to the structure which
is later on submerged in the salt lagoons so that the salt adheres to
the ship and makes it a real piece of art, the symbol of Torrevieja´s
own art works.
